Terry Helene Mills Award in Philosophy
Overview
This scholarship is to support outstanding undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in philosophy at the IU School of Liberal Arts. Terry Helene Mills was an extraordinary human being whose life was devoted to supporting others. She served the School of Liberal Arts and the philosophy department for many years as the department's administrative assistant.
Selection Criteria
Recipient will be pursuing a degree in the Department of Philosophy. A GPA greater or equal to 3.5 out of a 4.0 scale is required. Additionally, the applicant must demonstrate their aim to cultivate professional interest in the discipline of Philosophy. The department bases its selection on superior scholastic achievement, faculty recommendations, and active engagement in the Department of Philosophy.
