Sociology Service Learning Award
Overview
This scholarship is to be used to support undergraduate students enrolled in degree-granting programs of the Department of Sociology. All sociology major and minor students are eligible for the award.
Selection Criteria
The student should take at least one service learning course in Sociology and must be enrolled full time at IUPUI. The student should display outstanding achievement in service learning activities in terms of commitment, leadership and impact on others. The student is also expected to establish/maintain a relationship with a community partner or agency beyond the course. The recipient is strongly encouraged to participate in the Civic Engagement Showcase and Symposium by the Center for Service and Learning.
How to Apply
No application, faculty nominated and selected.
Nominated students will receive an email notification requesting additional information is completed utilizing the One.lU scholarship management system.
