Sidney Houston Memorial Scholarship
Overview
The Sidney W. Houston Memorial Liberal Arts Scholarship was created by M. Louise Dauner. This scholarship is to support students enrolled in the World Languages and Cultures Department.
Selection Criteria
Presented to a student who is outstanding in the study of literature and language. The recipient must be a Liberal Arts student who has completed at least 56 credit hours, but no more than 90 credit hours from fall semester; achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above; be considered a person of moral responsibility and high professional potential.
No application to be submitted by students; recipient will be selected by the scholarship committee.

No student application. Faculty nominate and select the student recipient.
Nominated students will receive an email notification requesting additional information to be completed utilizing the One.IU scholarship management system.
