Manuela Reynolds Award

Overview

This award supports advanced student research, allowing an Anthropology major or master's student to attend a conference or symposium which will support their area of anthropological research or to participate in a field school.

Selection Criteria

Recipient will be majoring in or pursuing an advanced degree in Anthropology. The department bases its selection on superior scholastic achievement, faculty recommendations, and special contributions to the Anthropology program. Applicants must provide proof of acceptance indicating that research has been accepted for presentation at a conference or symposium or they must provide evidence that attendance at the event will further their work in Anthropology. If the award will be used for travel to participate in a field school and/or for publication of research, appropriate documentation must be provided.
