Biography

Edith Millikan joined the School of Liberal Arts in 2006 as its first Grants Analyst. She helps faculty find funding, collaborates with them on proposal development, especially writing a realistic budget, and co-authors other administrative documents required by the funding agency. Her favorite activity in this job is providing feedback on researchers' proposal drafts, because she learns about the great work going on in the School and gets to help faculty with the persuasive writing style that's key to proposal success. She is part of the SLA Office of Research team, along with Associate Dean for Research Jeff Wilson and Grant Specialist Eric Hamilton.
