The Program for Intensive English (PIE) is happy to announce that we have returned to the IUPUI campus for fall classes! We are so excited to have our students back in the classroom, and are taking measures to ensure the health and safety of our students and faculty during this unprecedented era, including social distancing and wearing masks.

Currently, PIE is holding classes Monday through Thursday, with Fridays being open for students to receive tutoring, to complete additional assignments, or to study for tests. In addition to socially distancing and wearing masks, our classes are limited to smaller numbers of students, start times are staggered so as to limit the number of people coming and going at once, and students have the option to tune into their classes via Zoom video conferencing if they do not feel well or are uncomfortable coming back to school in person.
Classes will continue in-person for Fall 2 session on October 21, with new student orientation taking place on October 19 and 20.

Despite the unusual nature of the fall here at PIE, we are thankful to be able to see our students’ faces back in the classroom and are excited for them to continue in their English language development this session — masks and all!
