Estela Ene headshot imageThe IUPUI Center for Translating Research Into Practice (TRIP) displays great strides and contributions that IUPUI faculty make to others. “IUPUI faculty members are making a difference to farmers, manufacturers, the service industry, our waterways, policy makers, educators, and to the health and wellbeing of our citizens through their focus on translational research” (n.d.).

It is with great pleasure to announce that Estela Ene, English Prof., Chair, and EAP Program Director, has been featured in the TRIP newsletter regarding her upcoming book, EFL Writing Teacher Education and Professional Development: Voices from Underrepresented Contexts. Multilingual Matters. “The collection explores how EFL writing teacher education is shaped, given teachers’ unique local contexts and circumstances. The chapters prioritize local voices and materials in order to help build a more comprehensive picture of L2 writing globally, enabling the book as a whole to both document and further shape pedagogical approaches to L2 writing.” You are able to pre-order a copy now, with the release date being March 12, 2024.

Congratulations Dr. Ene!
