IUPUI sociologist Andrew Whitehead published an analysis of the growth and decline of Christian nationalism in the United States in the Washington Post’s analysis section, the Monkey Cage. Whitehead and colleague Sam Perry show that while fewer Americans embrace strong commitment to Christian nationalism, the importance of Christian nationalism to those Americans only continues to grow.
