WELCOME to the Department of History in the Indiana University School of Liberal Arts on the campus of IUPUI. We are committed to quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. We offer a variety of options for undergraduate majors and minors in history, for students who need history classes for their own majors, and for those who are looking for an interesting elective. The department is proud of its close working relationships with other programs on campus, including Museum Studies, the National Council on Public History, the Center for American Studies, Africana Studies, and Women’s Studies. We offer Masters-level graduate concentrations in U.S. History, European History, and Public History.
