Macy is a junior at IUPUI majoring in psychology with a minor in American Sign Language. She plans to attend graduate school upon graduation, though she is still deciding on specific programs. The Hal Tobin Award is presented annually to the undergraduate student who submits the best essay written in either W131 Reading, Writing, and Inquiry or W140 Reading, Writing, and Inquiry-Honors. Students may revise and edit their work before submitting it. Up to two pieces may be submitted. First place winners receive $125; second place winners receive $100.
