The School of Liberal Arts and the Department of Communication Studies have many resources available to students. The following is a list of helpful links:

Communication Technology Lab

This facility is best used by students interested in media production; audio, video, photography, and graphics. It is a fully equipped studio with workstation capable of creating web pages, video tapes and files, DVDs, audio projects or audio sweetening for video, slide shows, podcasts; anything media oriented.

Communication Studies Research Guide  

This link will take you to a dedicated resource area for Communication Studies on the University Library Website. This guide is intended for students and faculty studying or researching in the field of Communication Studies.

Communication Studies Departmental Listservs

The Department of Communication Studies has several Listservs for faculty, students, and alumni. By subscribing to a Listserv, you will be able to stay connected and up-to-date on the most current information available in our department. Student Scholarship Information

The School of Liberarl Arts offers many scholarship opportunties. For a list please go to School of Liberal Arts Website. In addition to those scholarships, the Department of Communication Studies offers an annual scholarship, The Burns-Wagener Scholarship. The deadline for this scholarship is February 1st, for the following academic year. Information about the scholarship can be found by contacting  Professor Jonathan P. Rossing jrossing@iupui.edu .

National Communication Association

One of the most important organizatioins that a Communication Studies Major can participate in is the National Communication Association. Membership prices are greatly reduced for students.  For information about the mission, history and membership of this organization, link to National Communication Association Website.
