2017 Conference
Our capacious theme was Feminist Futures. The conference was Saturday, April 8 from 9-4. We enjoyed a Feminist Game Night on April 7, in the IU South Bend university cafeteria. We had some inventive faculty working on a round of stations where people tried out a series of fun feminist games, including a reproduction of "Suffragetto":

We had snacks, a make-your-own-feminist-button station, and other fun and interactive opportunities for students to get to know one another in a lively and low-stakes environment.
Our keynote speaker for the conference was Suzanna Fritzberg, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Mayor of South Bend Ms. Fritzberg is a dynamic young professional who earned a Women’s Studies degree as an undergraduate. Her talk was: “Personal, Political: Early Reflections on a Women’s Studies Education."
