To support undergraduate Political Science majors to attend conferences and/or complete undergraduate research projects. Students do not apply to this scholarship, however, if you feel you are eligible contact the Political Science office.
This scholarship is for undergraduate students who are majoring in political science, are at least sophomores, are first generation college students, and have demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students who graduated from high school in Marion County. Because, as part of its mission, Indiana University is committed to diversity, special consideration will be given to underrepresented populations, including but not limited to financially challenged students, and/or students with diverse cultural experiences.
This scholarship is to support undergraduate students majoring in Political Science or Law in Liberal Arts in the School of Liberal Arts. Students must demonstrate academic excellence and preference will be given to those with financial need.
This scholarship, named after the founding chairman of the Political Science Department, is awarded annually to outstanding political science juniors to help with their academic costs during their senior year.
This scholarship will be used to support annual award(s) for any undergraduate or graduate Liberal Arts student who is conducting research that entails the administration of a survey and analysis of the results. The number, amount, and recipient(s) of the Award will be determined by a Committee made up of the School of Liberal Arts faculty that includes the Chair of the Department of Political Science.
This scholarship is for undergraduate students and managed by the Department, for the best essays or papers written on the topic of political theory. Recipients shall be students at IUPUI in any discipline. They must be currently enrolled in, or have taken in the last two years, a political theory course offered by the Department. The number, amount and the recipient(s) of the Prize will be determined by a committee within the Department, appointed by the Department chair.
