The Anthropology Department honors an outstanding Anthropology major whose academic record reflects both scholastic excellence and intellectual breadth. This award is faculty selected; there is no student application.
This scholarship is to be used to support undergraduate scholarships. The recipients shall be outstanding anthropology majors in or entering his/her junior or senior year. The number, amount, and recipient(s) of the Scholarship will be determined by the faculty of the Anthropology Department.
This fund is to support a scholarship for one undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Anthropology in the School of Liberal Arts who demonstrates academic excellence and an interest in expanding their worldview/experience through their liberal arts studies. Preference will be given to a student with financial need.
This award supports advanced Anthropology student research, allowing an Anthropology student to attend symposia which will support their area of anthropological research or at which the student is presenting research findings and/or to attend field school or provide for related travel and/or publication.
