Publishing in the Digital Humanities: A Case Study, January 26, 2018

The growth of digital humanities raises many questions. How are scholars enriching their work through multimedia exhibitions and archives of visual, audio and other materials? What technologies are available, and what are their costs, audiences and longevity? How does this new scholarship change peer review and promotion standards? This workshop features Associate Professor Kelly Hayes' fieldwork on the Brazilian new religious movement The Valley of the Dawn. With thousands of photographs and many hours of audio and video recordings, Dr. Hayes' scholarship offers an exciting case study for exploring the new opportunities and challenges of digital humanities
