Supported by donations to the Museum Studies Fund of the IU Foundation, the IUPUI Museum Studies Program awards fellowships to support graduate student travel to professional conferences relevant to the student’s program of study.
This scholarship is awarded to a student in good standing the Museum Studies graduate program and who has been in service to the museum community and the Museum Studies program. The student selected must also commit to write an article for the Museum Studies newsletter or blog about their experience. Priority will be given to students presenting at the conference.
The applicant must submit to the Museum Studies Program Director, Dr. Laura Holzman (firstname.lastname@example.org): a resume in pdf format and a brief essay (500 words) in pdf format that includes a description of how attending the conference would further the student’s professional development goals and identifies a museum the student plans to visit during the conference.
