Biography
Chris received his Bachelors of Science in Visual Communications Technology, a Masters of Education in Career & Technology Education at Bowling Green State University, and a Ph.D. at the University of Toledo in the field of educational technology with a focus in media production.
While earning a PhD, he was a Lecturer & Academic Advisor in the Visual Communication Technology program at BGSU, teaching courses in cross-media integration and overseeing the video production track.
Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in Computer Graphics Technology in the Purdue School of Engineering & Technology at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). He teaches courses in the fundamentals of video production to advanced motion design and conducts research in the area of media theory, experiential learning and pervasive technology in the area of STEM education. His industry experience is quite diverse, with over thirteen years in the visual communications field, having worked for many different organizations and institutions.
