The Public History program requires full-time students to complete two 10-month internships, arranged through the Director of Public History. Internships provide important, hands-on experience that complements the program’s classroom instruction. Internships also help build resumes.

Our internships are paid, ten-month, 20 hours per week positions, which are cost-shared with community partners and include substantial tuition remission and, if needed, graduate student health insurance.
