Arabic Studies Student in Jordan

Jordan is amazing and I am adjusting well. We got snowed in our first weekend here so that was fun. My host family and I went out and walked around for almost three hours. I didn’t bring waterproof shoes but it was still fun. Classes are going great. I have Arabic everyday and I love it. We had a class trip to Wadi Rum and Petra a couple weeks ago and it was beautiful. The food here is amazing! My host mom made Maqluba for dinner the other night and it was delicious. The weather is starting to get warmer, all of the students are happy about that. It was very cold the first couple of weeks. A few students and I are planning a trip to Cairo over spring break. We are still working out the details but I’m excited!
