Interning at the Statehouse was an extremely valuable experience. I learned so much in my short four months that I will forever be thankful for. It was interesting working directly with constituents, but so rewarding when I was able to help them solve problems. This internship really opened my eyes to the importance of state government.

I built so many relationships, not only with my direct representatives, but of all those who came into the Statehouse. It was a great starting point for my future legal and political career. Working hands on with the legislative process really gives you a deep understanding that is hard to obtain otherwise. I am so appreciative for all of my experiences and time here and would promote anyone to apply!

I believe in this current world the political system and government is being disregarded by society, which is why I have such a strong passion for it. I know the only way to fix anything is to be within it. I know my education at IUPUI and my Political Science professors set me up with the success I needed to get this internship and then prosper in it.
