Joe Whitman, APR, has degrees in journalism and film. He has worked in integrated marketing communications for more than 40 years. Before starting his own agency, he worked as writer, producer and vice president/creative director at agencies throughout the Midwest where his clients included Gates Learjet, Beechcraft, PepsiCo, Delta and Peerless Faucet, Boeringer Mannheim/Roch and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization. He is now director of marketing for three of the general ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Joe has taught Principles of Creative Advertising (J320) for more than a decade.
