Minor in Geography

From the urban to the rural and everything in between, learn how people are connected with their environments and find solutions to rising challenges.

Requirements for a Minor: 15 credit hours, including:

G107 Physical Systems of the Environment (this course can also be used to fulfill natural science requirements in many schools)
G110 Introduction to Human Geography (this course fulfills social science or comparative world culture requirements)

OR

G130 World Geography (this course fulfills social science requirements)

The remaining 9 credit hours may be selected from any geography course at the 200 level or above.

How to enroll

A minimum grade of C (2.0) is required in each course; courses taken as pass/fail will not be accepted. At least one semester before graduation, you must complete the online School of Liberal Arts Declaration Form to declare your minor in geography.
