What Anthropology Did for Me?

“Upon graduating with my MA, I began a career as an archaeologist with Cardno, now Stantec, where I still work. My time in the Applied Anthropology MA program was invaluable as it allowed me to develop my research and technical skills and explore my particular interests in the field of archaeology. The program provided me connections and experiences in my field that allowed me to quickly find job placement upon graduating. As a MA student, I was expected to think critically as well as dynamically in group settings, which transfer to everyday career essentials. Overall, the program prepared me to succeed at working on archaeological projects and collaborating with colleagues to meet project goals and deadlines.”
– Tyler Donaldson ’19 M.A. Applied Anthropology
