Giving to Anthropology

The philanthropic support of our mission and the future of our students is greatly appreciated. We have several funds you can contribute to. The Friends Of Anthropology Fund is a general support account used, among other various needs, to support our orientation/welcoming event for graduate students at the beginning of each year and a graduation party at the end of each year for our undergraduate seniors. Our Friends of Anthropology Scholarship awards one outstanding junior or senior each year about $250.00 towards their course expenses. The Larry J. Zimmerman Fund for Student Research Support provides support for research being conducted by students who are studying anthropology, museum studies, or American Indian Studies in the School of Liberal Arts at IUPUI. Our final fund, the Barbara D. Jackson Lecture in Anthropology, honors the founder of our department and provides support for guest lecturers to visit IUPUI. These speakers are not only for the benefit of our students and faculty, but also the communities of Indianapolis.

All giving, no matter how large or small, is greatly appreciated by all our staff and students. THANK YOU!
