Provides a scholarship to an undergraduate student who is enrolled part or full time, majoring in the Department of World Languages and Cultures, or is enrolled in the Individualized Major Program with a world language concentration, and who has a record of academic excellence.
Student must have at least one year of study until graduation.
Preference will be given to a student who has demonstrated service to their language discipline.
Selection will be based on a rotation among the existing language programs.
Students will submit the following:
- Letter of recommendation from a Liberal Arts faculty
- Essay of 250 words that explains your interest in the language and describes your service to the language discipline.
