Women's Studies

Majors and Minors

Women’s Studies (WOST) is an interdisciplinary academic program drawing on courses from around the university which focus on women, gender and sexuality. A minor is offered directly through the Women’s Studies program, however students must pursue a Women’s Studies major through the Individualized Major Program in the School of Liberal Arts. This option allows students interested in issues related to gender and sexuality to design their major by drawing from the Women’s Studies course listings and other university offerings. Contact the Individualized Major Program office directly for more information about the requirements, but the Women’s Studies office will happily assist any student pursuing this option.

A graduate minor is available for students enrolled in an approved graduate program on the IUPUI or IUB campuses.
