American Sign Language Lab

The Interactive Language Classroom uses a Sony LLC-8000 language lab console running Conductor . In each of the sixteen student stations, students can create either videotapes or audio tapes that contain both the source and target languages, whether broadcast from the instructor's console or originating in a student's station. In each station, students may play their own videotapes and work independently or in groups, and, at the same time, record their work as well as the material they using. It is also possible for the instructor to broadcast a single course text to all stations, to a group of students, or to a single student. Sony cameras make it possible for the instructor from the console to talk to, listen to, and/or record all students, some students or a single student.

Communication Technology Laboratory (ComTech Lab)
The Communication Technology Laboratory is a multimedia production facility which is open to students, faculty and staff producing work of an academic nature. Our laboratory facilities house a quarter of a million dollars of media equipment and represent a commitment to maintaining a workshop in which students and faculty alike may develop and maintain their media production skills.
