Scholarship Details

Sarah Jamison Keller Scholarship

This scholarship promotes and encourages the study of English language or literature in the IU School of Liberal Arts. This full tuition scholarship is awarded annually to a senior majoring in English who demonstrates ability to write scholarly analysis of an aspect of English language or literature. NOT AVAILABLE 2014/2015


IUPUI English major junior with senior status following fall, Indiana resident, cumulative grade point average of 3.3 for all undergraduate courses and not less than a 3.5 cumulative average for all courses in English. To receive the award during the spring semester of senior year, recipient must have cumulative GPA of 3.7 in all fall semester English courses.

The recipient will have submitted a scholarly or critical essay in English on an aspect of English language or literature; the essay is to be judged by a committee of the English Department faculty. Applicants are responsible for completing the application form and all indicated additional screens (including uploading files for required essays/papers, project descriptions, and indicating faculty/staff recommendations, financial need statement, etc.)
