Promotes and encourages the study of French, English, German, or Spanish language and literature in the IU School of Liberal Arts. Presented to a student who is outstanding in the study of literature and language.
This scholarship has been established in memory of Dr. Daniel Nützel, former German professor and Director of the Max Kade German-American Center at IUPUI to honor his contributions to the German Program at IUPUI and the German-American community of Indiana. This scholarship is for students majoring, minoring, or pursuing a certificate or graduate degree in German, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and preference for students who have demonstrated financial need. The Scholarship is renewable.
Supports part or full time students working toward a degree in Engineering or Technology in the study of German. Student must be minoring or majoring in German.
