The Bulen Symposium on American Politics

The Bulen Symposium is a one-day event hosted biennially by the Department of Political Science that focuses on the state of the American political system and its two major parties. It brings together political practioners, journalists, and scholars, with topics and speakers chosen by a committee of representatives from the university and the community. Indianapolis Model United Nations

The Department hosts an annual Model United Nations for area high schools. This is the oldest high schools Model UN in the United States, having been held continuously since 1952. It brings together more than 400 Indianapolis-area high school students for a 24-hour conference every March. For more information, see the Model UN website.
