Bill Blomquist joined the Department of Political Science in 1987. He
teaches American politics, constitutional law, and public policy, and
occasional courses on Indiana politics and research methods. His
primary research focus is on the management of water resources.
His publications include Dividing the Waters (1992) and Embracing
Watershed Politics
(2008). He is Associate Editor of the journal
Water Resources Research and a member of the Editorial Board
of Policy Studies Journal

Professor Blomquist attended Ohio University from 1975 to 1979
and received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in economics, and a
Master of Arts degree in political science. He received his Ph.D. in
political science from Indiana University - Bloomington in 1987.

Bill was chair of the Department from 1995 to 2002, and also served as Dean of the School of Liberal Arts from 2008 to 2015.
