Message from the Dean: New Website
News Categories: News
Greetings,
We are proud to announce the soft release of the new Liberal Arts website!
As you already know, http://liberalarts.iupui.edu is now home to a new system of tools, resources, and databases as well as a new look and navigation system.
But, the transformation isn’t complete, yet. You will still find that some information can only be located by visiting the old blue pages, and that some links on the new site take you right back to where we were. Don’t be alarmed, you’ll be able to access the complete old page from the new site for some time to come.
Some elements of the new page that are particularly noteworthy are: a new, searchable scholarship database for our students and an integrated course listing that draws on real time registrar information as well as the university bulletin descriptions. Also, you will now be able to browse events by catagory; find handy links to email, Oncourse, and OneStart right on the front page; and, utilize more options for keeping up with your school and campus news. The new navigation system includes a new combined listing of our departments and academic programs which we think will suit students and visitors better.
There’s much more to come. Look for an overhaul of existing content as well as new sections, information, resources, and features focusing on teaching, research, international programs, and more.
Please take advantage of the feedback form located in the black bar at the top of each page. We welcome your ideas about additions and improvements to the new site.
Stay tuned for future developments on the site and enjoy.
Sincerely,
Robert W. White
Dean
