From the city to IUPUI:

The IUPUI campus is roughly a 25-minute walk to the west of downtown Indianapolis.

The Red Line (pdf) ($1.75) runs every 15 minutes between the downtown and the campus.

Indy Hostel

This independent hostel is low-cost alternative to the hotels. It lies about six miles north of the campus and a few blocks east of a main bus line (the number 17 [pdf]) in a comfortable neighborhood. Rates are from $25 on the weekend for a bed in a 4-6-person dormitory. Reservations can be made online at their website, and it is recommended that one make reservations a couple months in advance.

Parking

 

All parking on the IUPUI campus is paid. See the IUPUI parking website for information.

 

The hotels provide parking and are either on campus, within walking distance of campus, or near a bus stop (some downtown hotels are on The Red Line [pdf]).
