Reserving MLRC Global Connector Lab

The Global Connector Lab is available to students and faculty on a walk-in basis through out the week. If, however, a class has reserved the lab, walk-ins may not use the lab until the class is done. Watch for signs and postings of when the lab will be in use by a class. They may also be reserved by faculty members as part of a course and class who reserve the lab in advance will be given preference over walk-ins.

Reserving the lab is easy. If you are a professor in the IU School of Liberal Arts all you need to do is call or go to CA319A and talk with one of our consultants. Tell them the date and time that you wish to reserve the lab and they will check its availability for you. Professors may reserve one date at a time, but may schedule additional lab time after each session. In addition, each professor may book the lab for three 45 minute oral exams per semester. All professors are required to receive training prior to use of MLRC Global Connector facility for class.

A scheduled lab session will be forfeit 15 minutes after the starting time if the class does not show. Professors should contact us if the class will be late. We ask that you be courteous to others using the lab and cancel your lab time if you no longer need it.

Tips for Reserving MLRC Global Connector Lab:

  • Plan Ahead - The earlier in the semester that you schedule class time the more likely it is you'll get the dates and times you want.
  • Request Training - or a tour of the labs to get a hands on feel of what resources are available for your classes.
  • Don't hesitate to ask questions (E-mail: mlrc@iupui.edu or Ph: (317) 278-2277)

MLRC Global Connector Lab Rules

To maintain the quality and integrity of the MLRC Global Connector we've established a few rules that will help ensure that all student and faculty receive positive service.

  1. Absolutely NO food or drink are allowed in the lab areas

Violation of these rules may result in the loss of lab use.
