KC IRB Training

The IU Office of Research Compliance Human Subjects web page is your main source for all things Human Subjects. You’ll find several sections of information on how to determine what level of review, if any, your project needs and how to submit materials for review. There is a web page of forms, of training resources, policies and guidance, data and reports, and FAQs.

We recommend you visit the Training/Education page. It has a link to eLearning Videos and Training Guides, as well as to Classroom learning opportunities; we highly recommend taking a course on campus if you are not familiar with Kuali Coeus. On this screen, select the Human Subjects/IRB Class Area, and Indianapolis Campus. It also has a link to CITI training in human subject research. You are required to update your training every three years.

When you are ready to submit IRB materials, you’re able to access KC IRB from the Services tab of OneStart. Click on Kuali Coeus, and select KC IRB. You can also access training materials from this page.
