Being an Ambassador
As a Liberal Arts Ambassador, you will be an advocate for the School of Liberal Arts. In this role, you will interact with students, faculty and staff, plus businesses and individuals within the Indianapolis and surrounding communities.
Your role will include engaging in student recruitment efforts, hosting special events and serving as university and school guides to community leaders, friends and alumni of the School of Liberal Arts. For example, you might participate in orientation workshops, speak at other student organizations, or represent the School at citywide events like Black Expo.
Opportunities for you to network with alumni, community officials and members, faculty and business leaders abound. While you are required to volunteer at only two events over the year, you are welcome to volunteer for as many as you’d like.
