Principles of Undergraduate Learning (PUL)
IUPUI’s Principles of Undergraduate Learning (PULs) were developed over several years of discussion involving hundreds of faculty, students, and staff. The principles describe the fundamentals of intellectual competence and cultural and ethical awareness at IUPUI, including the following:
- Core communication and quantitative skills
- Critical thinking
- Integration and application of knowledge
- Intellectual depth, breadth, and adaptiveness
- Understanding society and culture
- Values and ethics
