Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis

Internships

The Public History program requires an internship, arranged through the Director of Public History.  Internships provide important, hands-on experience that complements the program’s classroom instruction.  Internships also help build resumes.

Many of our internships are paid, ten-month, half-time positions, which are cost-shared with community partners and include a substantial tuition remission and graduate student health insurance.
