ASL Degree Requirements

 

Bachelor of Science Degree Requirements

• 33 hours of coursework in the major
• Completion of all general education requirements in the School of Liberal Arts
• 2.0 cumulative GPA
• Residence requirements of the School of Liberal Arts and the Program
• 135-137 hours of coursework

 

Certificate Program Requirements

A Certificate in ASL/English Interpreting is available to students who have already completed a baccalaureate degree.  Contact the Director for further information.

• 24 hours of coursework in the major
• 9 credits of pre-requisite courses in Linguistics, Grammar and Deaf Culture
• 2.0 GPA
