 April 20, 2012 All Day TripJoin the Economics Club as we venture to Lafayette to visit the Subaru and Caterpillar factories. Walk along the assembly lines and see how workers and management cooperate to produce automobiles and heavy construction vehicles are assembled in a modern-day factory.

•Learn about quality control.
•Track the parts as they move through the factory.
• See factory workers at work and learn about their working conditions.
• Find out how Subaru produces less waste than an average household!
• Watch the robots.

The trip is scheduled for Friday, April 20th, from 9am to 5pm.
