Academic Interests

Intersection of religion, politics, and law in American History. As well as Indiana History.

Teaching

I teach everything from discovery to the present when it comes to US History, and increasingly a good deal of World History as well.

Various journal articles, book reviews, and book chapters. As well as Prohibition is Here to Stay (University of Notre Dame Press, 2009) and the forthcoming Mainline Christianity (New York University Press, 2012).
