Our coaches give you an opportunity to talk one-on-one about strategies for applying for internships, part-time jobs, professional positions or graduate school. Our career coaches assist you with your resume, cover letters and graduate school essays, networking and interview techniques, as well as preparing for career fairs.

You can benefit from career coaching at any point in your college career;
you don’t have to wait until your senior year to figure out what kind of career options are available to you with your Liberal Arts degree! In fact, the more involved and intentional you are during your undergraduate studies the better your chances for success after graduation.

Having a plan is better than taking a gamble on something as important as your career! You don’t have to navigate this journey alone; we’re here to help.

Will career coaching help me figure out what kind of jobs I can get when I graduate?

Yes. The staff in the Career Development Office can discuss with you how your interests, skills, strengths and values as well as your chosen major all tie into the types of jobs you would enjoy, and ultimately the career paths you may take.

Who is eligible for career coaching?

We provide the majority of our services for undergraduate Liberal Arts students; however, we also assist graduate students and alumni with their job searches, graduate school options and career conversations.
