Liberal Arts Majors | Post a Job or Internship | Participate in Career Events
You already know—and the employer surveys we examine confirm—that effective communication skills, taking initiative, creative problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical abilities are some of the most important competencies of today’s employees. And that "passion" is an attribute that’s also important to the productive contributions of employees and bottom-line success. That’s why students who have completed a liberal arts education can be so valuable to your organization.
In addition, through the RISE initiative on our campus, our office and our faculty support our students in pursuing research, international/study abroad, service learning and experiential learning experiences such as internships and externships that help them better understand the needs of others and what they can offer the world.
